I am not a good tweeter user.
That’s why I only lately discovered the fake accounts that were opened under my name. The Ergenekon mob tried to mess with me. I was charged with penalty cases accusations 32 times and 4 times for action for damages. I went through more than a hundred probations.
I have considered the Ergenekon phenomenon as one of the most significant steps in dealing with coups in our country, the background of which is full of unsolved murders and coups committed by deep structures. For the sake of this end, I even wrote a book called “Facing the Gladio within us”, which describes similar examples around the world.
The journalists tried to mess with me. It’s just they did not sue me. Instead, they insulted me and I got some threats. That’s it. The parallel structure also messed with me, because I said that their concern was not the preparatory school closure, but rather overthrowing Erdoğan.
They did so because I considered the December 17 process to be a coup attempt.
They sued me 16 times, too. I was trying to deal with all these simultaneously in courts, newspaper columns and TV screens. Thanks to my newspaper, it stood like a solid rock behind me in every struggle of mine. Now, to talk about Yiğit Bulut. Well… As a person who has nothing other than his honor and prestige and his firm belief in his cause, I won’t make any exception for Yiğit Bulut either. Therefore, I will also struggle with him until the end. Anyhow, we will all die one day. I was next to Erdoğan when the Ergenekon mob moved to overthrow AK Party. Now, tell me Yiğit Bulut, where were you then?
While Taner Ünal, the leader of the Union of Patriotic Forces, was being added to the Ergenekon terror organization file with a high court decision, what was said? I was next to Erdoğan when the so-called republican meetings were taking place, which were aspiring to hinder the presidential elections. And what side were you on at that time, Yiğit Bulut?
When the article 367 was passed, I called it an impact to democracy. What did you say about the article 367 Yiğit Bulut? Now, let’s talk about this April 27 e-memorandum. I objected to the April 27 e-memorandum. I had only just opposed to the September 12 and February 28 processes. What front were you taking at that time?
When the closure case was opened, just as many other democrats did, I stuck my neck out. For the news reports I wrote, how many times was I called to the courthouse and my statement was taken? And yet, I esteemed it as honor. I was next to Erdoğan when the closure case was opened against AK Party. Again, when they were demanding that his parliamentary membership be dismissed, I was next to President Erdoğan, for whom you are working as his consultant today.
Because I was against the party closures in democracies. Because I was seeing the closure against AK Party, the article 367 and the April 27 e-memorandum as a severe impact against democracy in order to make impossible things possible.
Alright, Yiğit Bulut, where were you at that time?
Remember, you wrote an article in Vatan News as their column author in March 16, 2008 with the title “the state is enough for the government”. These are your words. Let’s read more.
“In the recent times, the attitude of the party in the government such as “we do whatever we want, after all there is no one opposing it” was stopped by one of the cogwheels of the state stepping in. The state told the government “enough, this is the dead-end.”
Shall we continue Yiğit Bulut? “Let us ask another question at this point: is it possible that the state is against the government?
Perhaps… imagine the state as a plane. The state represents the essence of the state or in other words the body of the plane, which comprises the operational principles of interacting with the nature or in short the ‘fundamental’ ones. On the other hand, governments are chosen to ‘administer’ based on certain principles for a specific time. If we simply follow the plane example, ‘governments’ are pilots, which reside in the planes for a certain period of time. This is where AKP made its biggest mistake. They forgot that they were the pilots and they started to change the structure, seats, and motors of the plane or they even tried to alter the flight principles by which it flies by nature. Thus, they wanted to create a new model. “
So this is what AK Party did, according to him. And what happened then? Yiğit Bulut answers:
“What happened? The owner of the plane came and said “Hoo! bro! Hold there!”
So? The “owner of the plane” came and said to Erdoğan “Hoo!” But according to Yiğit Bulut, AKP was still quite lucky!
Yiğit Bulut’s word on the AK Party closure is still continuing: “AKP is still quite lucky; because the “most polite” owner of the plane who “gave it a chance” came. May God forbid, what would happen if the owners came!”
In other words, he means to say that AKP was quite lucky because the polite owners of the country could not realize a coup like in September 12! If anybody is curious about those “amazing” analyses such as “a case can be opened or the party can be closed” whereas the closure case guaranteed the parliamentary to be open.
This is you Yiğit Bulut. Are you doing your consultancy job with such “courageous” democrat mentality? Don’t you ever get ashamed of what you do and write? But I figured out the problem you have with me.
When Ahmet Davutoğlu was forming the government, a word that you whispered spread around in particular within the financial circles in Istanbul. This was a rumor, which said that Ali Babacan was going away and Yiğit Bulut was going to take on the head of economy.
You found yourself suitable for being the deputy prime minister responsible for economy.
Well I have nothing to do with these kinds of things.
I just wrote an article shedding light to the questions like who would take place in the cabinet and how the economy would be conducted and what would be the status of Ali Babacan. There, I wrote Ali Babacan will stay in the administration of economy and Yiğit Bulut will not take any place in this equation. I am a journalist working based on my backstage information. That was the beat of the backstage. And what I wrote turned out to be true. So, I did not write anything wrong in terms of my profession.
Look Yiğit Bulut…
I don’t need any trade of influence.
I was working at Yeni Şafak, which Albayrak owns and I am still working there.
I even rejected the program-making offers in state TV channels, because I was the Ankara representative of Yeni Şafak.
Listen to me, Yiğit Bulut, my name is Abdülkadir and my last name is Selvi.
I have nothing to be blamed for and my background is clean.
I have been here for 29 years. God is my witness that I have never made any personal interest-based demand. It is out of question. I have immediately turned down the positions you were running for.
I consider a struggle to any attack against democracy honorable. I have a friendship with Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and that is it. That is enough for me. Whenever I gather with Mr. President, he asks me, “Do you need anything?” I say, “Please mention my name in your prayers, that’s enough”.
God is my first witness, then Mr. President. Yiğit Bulut, I was here in the past, too. I am still here and will be in the same place tomorrow. What about you?
