A clash between security forces and PKK terrorists leaves three village guards martyred and four others wounded in Çaldıran town of Van province
As many as three village guards have been martyred and four others have been wounded in a clash with the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists in eastern Van province of Turkey.
The clash occurred amid the ongoing operation against PKK in Çaldıran town.
Previously, on Thursday, a sergeant and a village guard were martyred in the clash with PKK terrorists on Mount Tendürek.
Meanwhile, in Çukurca town of Hakkari, twenty terrorists were killed and one soldier fell martyr.
Operations against the PKK continue in many regions of Turkey, particularly in the southeastern and eastern provinces of Turkey.
Turkey has been fighting against PKK terrorists both through land and air operations since July 2015. Since that date, more than 7,000 PKK terrorists have been killed.
