Turkish-Greek friendly match ahead of World Cup

Turkey''s national basketball team, nicknamed the ''12 Giant Men'', will meet Greece in a friendly match on Wednesday at the Olympic Indoor Sports Center in Athens.

The game between two rivals will tip off at 21.15 local time.

The game forms part of the preparation for the 2014 Basketball World Cup later this month in Spain. Turkey also recently completed Acibadem Belgrade Cup as runners-up after getting toppled by host nation Serbia in the final.

Nicknamed the '12 Dev Adam' (12 Giant Men), Turkey will host Greece in Istanbul on August 22, Friday.
