Passengers travelling with Euro 2016's official sponsor will be able to watch matches onboard and in lounges
Turkish Airlines confirmed on Wednesday that passengers will soon be able to watch games from the Euro 2016 football tournament live at 37,000 feet.
The Turkish flag-carrier is one of the sponsors of Europe's top-tier international competition and will also screen live games at its airport lounges.
Euro 2016 will be held in France from June 10 to July 10.
Voted Europe's best carrier for five consecutive years, Turkish Airlines has extensive sponsorship of many European sporting and cultural events.
The Turkish national carrier has sponsored many important football clubs in Europe such as Barcelona, Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund. It has also backed the Turkish Airlines Euroleague basketball tournament since 2010.
The firm has also sponsored individual athletes such as Barcelona's Argentine football star Lionel Messi, former Los Angeles Lakers basketball player Kobe Bryant, ex-Chelsea and Galatasaray striker Didier Drogba and Danish professional tennis player Caroline Wozniacki.
