Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces Oleg Salyukov briefs Defense Minister Andrey Belousov on different aspects of combat operations, including communications with defense industry enterprises
Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov on Monday inspected the National Defense Management Center, where top military officials briefed him on combat operations, army training, and arms and military equipment supplies.
According to a statement from the Defense Ministry, Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces Oleg Salyukov updated the minister on various aspects of combat operations, including communications with defense industry enterprises.
Salyukov also presented Belousov with a plan for the infrastructure development of the Saratov Higher Artillery Command School.
"The head of the Russian military department heard a report on the organization of combat duty and the work of operational groups to coordinate and control the combat work of units in the area of their military operations and comprehensive support for troops," the statement read.
Belousov was also briefed on the work of Russian peacekeeping contingents and the coordination of work with civil services in emergencies.
