Video emerges showing the man falling off the cliff
A surveillance camera captured the moment Halil Dağ, a 38-year-old Turkish citizen, fell off the historical Urfa Castle in the southeastern province of Şanlıurfa.
Dağ, who visited the Balıklıgöl Complex on Friday, lost his balance while he was posing for a photo at the castle, and fell 50 meters off the castle to the rocky ground. He lost his life in the Balıklıgöl State Hospital where he was taken for medical treatment.
Video footage from a security camera of a nearby cafeteria has emerged showing the shocking incident. Dağ hit the rocky soil as citizens rushed to help him.
