Istanbul suicide bomber identified as Turkish national Mehmet Öztürk, DNA test reveals
Istanbul Prosecutor's Office has identified the suicide bomber who blew himself up in Takism's İstiklal Avenue on Saturday killing four and injuring more than 30 people.
Mehmet Öztürk, 24, was identified from DNA matched to his father, Istanbul police said on Sunday.
According to police, Öztürk's family had informed police several months ago about him going missing.
