Turkey's current account balance is projected to post a deficit of $1.9 billion in July, an Anadolu Agency survey found on Thursday.

The Turkish Central Bank is set to announce the country's current account balance for July on Friday, Sept. 11.

The estimates of a group of 24 economists range between $800 million and $2.8 billion.

The year-end current account balance is forecast to register a gap of $23.6 billion.

Turkey's current account balance in June saw a deficit of $2.93 billion, up from $2.8 billion in the same month last year.

The country's new economic program, unveiled last September, forecast a current-account-surplus-to-GDP ratio of minus 1.2% for 2020.
