Three soldier martyred and nine others injured during the operations against PKK in southeastern Turkey
Three soldiers were martyred four others injured in the southeastern Nusaybin town of Mardin province during the operations against the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists in the southeastern Nusaybin town of Mardin province.
A soldier was martyred and four others injured after PKK terrorists detonated a bomb in front of a building while soldiers were entering the building. The attack occurred at 09:45 am with a handmade explosive trap.
Another attack targeted the same day, as PKK terrorists detonated a bomb as a military vehicle was passing. Two soldiers were martyred and five others were injured in the second attack.
Previously on Monday, a policeman and four soldiers were killed in a bomb attack by PKK terrorists in a counter-terror operation. A policeman was seriously injured in a counter-terrorism operation in Nusaybin district's Dicle neighborhood and later succumbed to his wounds at a hospital.
Joint security forces have been conducting counter-terror operations in the town since the curfew declared on March 14, to clean the area of PKK terrorists.
More than 300 security forces personnel have been martyred and thousands of PKK terrorists killed in operations across Turkey and Northern Iraq during the same timeframe.
