COVID-19 has claimed almost 573,000 lives in 188 countries and regions
Local health authorities in Palestine and Kuwait on Tuesday confirmed additional fatalities due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said five people had died from COVID-19, while 293 new infections were registered, bringing the total to 7,734 cases, including 46 deaths and 1,317 recoveries.
The given figures cover the occupied West Bank and the blockaded Gaza Strip.
