Four soldiers and a policeman martyred during operation against terrorist organization in southeastern Turkey
A policeman and four soldiers were martyred in the southeastern Nusaybin town of Mardin province.
Security sources said the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists detonated a bomb targeting a military vehicle that was passing on a road between Dicle and Fırat neighborhoods.
Four soldiers were killed in a bomb attack on Monday by PKK terrorists in a counter-terror operation while a policeman got seriously injured during an counter-terrorism operation in Nusaybin district's Dicle neighborhood and later succumbed to his wounds at a hospital.
Joint security forces have been conducting counter-terror operations in the southeastern border city since March 14, to clean the area of PKK terrorists.
