As many as eight soldiers martyred, 25 others under medical treatment over clash between security forces and PKK terrorists in Çukurca of Hakkari
The Turkish military has stated that three more Turkish soldiers were martyred over Friday's gun battle with Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists in the Çukurca town of the southeastern Turkish province of Hakkari.
"As many as eight soldiers were martyred and 25 others are under medical treatment, according to the military.
The clash was followed by an air-supported operation.
Turkish forces have efficiently been fighting against PKK terrorists since July of last year, when the terrorist group resumed terrorist activities.
More than 7,600 terrorists have been killed by Turkish forces up to now since July 2015.
