The Turkish military announced that 25 members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) have been killed in southeastern Turkey.
Twenty-seven of a total 21 terrorists were killed in Cizre town of Şırnak province, while the remaining four were killed in Sur town of Diyarbakır province.
With recent killings in Sur and Cizre towns, the number of terrorists neutralized in those towns exceeded 524.
Nine handmade explosives were destroyed, while two weapons, 370 shotgun cartridges, 5 Kalashnikovs, and two wireless were seized in Cizre.
Also, two terrorists were detained in Hakkari and one terrorist was found dead.
Furthermore, 33 members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) were killed yesterday in Cizre, Silopi and Sur towns.
With recent killings in Sur and Cizre, number of terrorists killed in those towns reached 666.
The PKK -- designated a terrorist organization by the US and the EU -- renewed its armed campaign against the Turkish state in late July, since when more than 200 members of the security forces have been martyred and over 3,100 PKK terrorists were killed in 2015 alone.
