Every year on November 20th, the world observes the International Children’s Rights Day, recognized by the United Nations General Assembly in 1954. This day serves to promote the well-being of children and raise awareness about their fundamental rights.

In Conakry, this significant occasion was marked in a heartfelt way by Alport Conakry, in partnership with GUINEA-EVENT. Together, they organized a special event to celebrate children’s rights, with a particular focus on those living in difficult circumstances. The collaboration ensured the success of this initiative by supporting children from orphanages around the Guinean capital.

The event brought together children from 22 orphanages in and around Conakry. Alport Conakry expressed its pride in supporting such a meaningful initiative, emphasizing the importance of celebrating youth, creativity, and children’s rights. The company’s management highlighted the essential role of social responsibility in providing support to underprivileged children, especially those in orphanages, bringing them joy and much-needed smiles.

As part of this initiative, Albayrak Group also distributed food packages. This gesture aligns with the group’s commitment to social responsibility and its active role in business and humanitarian efforts in Guinea. By aiding less-privileged children, Alport Conakry contributes to building a brighter future for Guinean youth, offering not just material support but also a message of hope and solidarity.

The International Children’s Rights Day thus stands as a global reminder of the importance of creating a safe and nurturing environment for every child, enabling them to develop and enjoy their rights to the fullest. Alport Conakry’s efforts this year symbolize a broader commitment to these principles, showing that every step toward uplifting vulnerable children can make a world of difference.
