An explosive-laden car bomb martyred a police officer and a courthouse employee and killed two terrorists in the western Turkish province of Izmir;
Also, up to 10 people were wounded in the blast reportedly occurred near the courthouse.
The incident occurred at 16:10 near the courthouse in the Bayraklı district of Izmir.
Izmir Governor Erol Ayyıldız said that car stopped in front of the courthouse and a clash with the police began just before the car bomb was detonated.
The assailants were armed with Kalashnikov rifles and grenades, according to Ayyıldız.

The governor said that two were martyred and over five people, including two in serious condition, were wounded.
"Police discovered another explosive-laden vehicle and detonated it in a controlled environment," Governor added.
Turkish police killed two terrorists in the clashes following the Izmir attack and still seeking the third terrorist who is on the run.
The suspect was described as being 1.65-1.70 meters tall with a black coat and a white beret.
Also, a suspicious package was found close to the scene of the attack.
Police are examining the package amid high security measures.
An eye-witness said that the police shot the suicide bomber, adding that they witnessed the moment of the explosion.
The bombing comes less than a week after a gunman shot dead 39 people at a nightclub in Istanbul on New Year's Day in an attack claimed by Daesh.
Turkey has been hit by a series of bombings that were conducted by Daesh and Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrrorists over the past 18 months.
