At least eight suspects were arrested in southern Turkey for alleged links to the terror organization PKK, police sources said on Tuesday.
Anti-terror teams mounted simultaneous dawn raids at 10 locations in the Seyhan and Yuregir districts of the southern Adana province, said the sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
Some of the suspects are allegedly involved in the mountain ranks of the terror group, the sources added.
The PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU -- resumed its armed campaign against Turkey in July 2015.
Since then, it has been responsible for the deaths of more than 1,200 Turkish security personnel and civilians, including a number of women and children.
