
Explosion took place inside academic institute in Kabul neighborhood with large population of Shia Hazara minority
Multiple casualties are feared as a huge explosion rocked Afghanistan’s capital Kabul on Saturday evening.
The explosion occurred in the Dasht-e-Barchi neighborhood of the capital, an area largely inhabited by the Shia Hazara minority.
Eyewitnesses told Anadolu Agency the blast took place inside a private academic institute named Kawsar-e-Danish.
The Interior Ministry confirmed the blast and said details will be shared after initial investigations.
